The first collaborative works with fabric artist Clare Beaton. Clare has written and or made original art work for 19 some published Children's books. After contacting her, Clare kindly agreed to make and send original works for me to animate. I photographed and scanned them and then built an environment and began animating. The music is an original score by Alex Berglund.
The second collaborative work With fabric artist Clare Beaton. I wanted to push this piece a little further by adding deeper scenes and catching shadows with lights within the scene. This taught me a great deal about how challenging it can be to work with thousands of pieces of rasterized artwork composited into a 3D scene. I had to put the project on hold for a few years until computers with better processors were available. It was a lot of fun and I'm very happy with the way it turned out.

Short animation ID piece created in 2006 just before my twins were born. This piece was inspired by crazy quilts and impending parenthood. I took several images from various quilts and threw them all in the blender and this is what came out.

The ask:
"If you are up for working on a project, I am doing a Z-fest film called HELP DESK. We are looking for an opening similar to Mad Men. Ideally I would like somebody (a man) having issues with a TV and calling into the Help Desk then talking to the person on the phone then explaining how things connect. It can have as many innuendoes as you can do in 17 seconds."
Designed to help my kids understand how to shift gears on their new bikes. Tried to keep it simple.
Card game designed by my son, “vectorized” by me. We had all 40 card variations printed at The Game Crafter website.
Designed this poster while at CRASH+SUES. Created it freehand in AfterEffects at over 8K resolution for print at 300 .dpi. I think a copy might still be hanging up in the new space.

Lotology is a film by Vanina Orezzoli + Tim Blevins edited by Andy Awes. I animated the title Sequence for this mini documentary about collecting scratch off lottery tickets. Scanned in real scratch off tickets for this one.
